Ernest Mwangi – Gogar Primary

“I am a pupil at Gogar Primary in Standard Eight. My mother is a single mother. This was because my father died when I was in Standard Five, and I was left with my mother and both my brother and sister. My mother is a casual labourer at a flower farm and the only money she gets is for food. We live in a rented house and sometimes she is unable to pay the rent.”

(Ernest’s father died of HIV. His uncle died a few days later. They were buried on the same day.)
